A humpback whale stranded in the Baltic Sea – far from home. For 38 days he was stuck while authorities hesitated.

Two wonderful people did not give up. They fought for him, gave him a name – Hope, affectionately also called Timmy – until the authorities relented and allowed help.

Today, Timmy is on a barge on his way back to the Atlantic. Home. 🐋✨
